In your report Anwar criticises BA's choice of Speaker , you quoted the former deputy prime minister saying: 'I cannot compromise my struggle for reform ... (Ramli Ngah Talib's) track record while heading the Perak administration was not exactly rosy'

I think this is a bit rich coming from a man like Anwar Ibrahim. He should ask himself what his record was like when he was in power. Did he ever support the people's efforts to abolish the ISA? Has he ever supported students' requests for the University and University Colleges Act to be abolished? Has he ever initiated a talk with PAS on the issue of the Islamic state?

Most importantly, has he ever done anything to bring corrupt politicians to justice? If he knows that Ramli's record was not so rosy, did he do anything about it when he was in power?

The answer to all these questions is 'No'.

Please Anwar, before you start proselytising, you should firstly apologise to the people for all the corrupt practices you yourself have been involved in and for all the oppression that you have been part of.
