Finally the media, government, and people of Penang are speaking up about the dismal conditions in Penang.
Khoo Kay Peng echoes these concerns and asks who can solve the problem. There's only one way for Penang to turn around after so many years of decay and that is with the leadership of the Penang chief minister.
The problems faced by us are frankly obvious, we wade through them everyday. But since the present leadership has had ample opportunity to address these problems, there is no reason to believe that such leadership will come from him.
But to replace him would require Penang citizens to vote him out which obviously has not happened.
So Penang is trapped. Unwilling to push for new leadership, yet desperately needing change.
To take a quote from Albert Einstein: 'Insanity is doing things the same way, yet expecting a different result'.
