With regards to the Selangor state government's exclusive 'exco village' , let me tell you, it must have been the fireflies at Kuala Selangor which caused it all. Have we forgotten that the menteri besar of Selangor ordered his boys to camp by the river to study why the fireflies were disappearing?

There they found the true spirit of what it means to be a Selangor state executive councillor - 'you scratch my back, I scratch yours'.

Look at them now, they can now huddle together in a cosy 'exco village' in Shah Alam practising the spirit of 'muhibbah' and brotherhood in their little private enclave, with no fences or borders to divide them.

They even have a club house and a swimming hole where they can swim together whilst discussing matters of the state!

Now, someone pointed out that there were only nine councillors so why was the need for 10 bungalows? But of course, sometimes the menteri besar also needs a change of atmosphere and would like to live among his boys instead of at the grand official menteri besar's residence.

Come on people, what is RM40 million spent on the Selangor state government 'exco village' when compared to the amount the boys are going to reap from the rape of Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam Agricultural Park when all those buildings there are finished?

The village is the reward for the excellent work done by our state executive councillors, given by the menteri besar and approved by the nine state executive councillors themselves.

Good night, Selangor state executive councillors wherever you are. But before you sleep, try (I know it's difficult) to have a kind thought for the poor rakyat's money you are enjoying.
