Great, now more ministers are now getting involved in malaysiakini's April Fool's joke. More of their time, more government money spent but less work on more important matters.

Energy, Water and Communications Minister Dr Lim Keng Yaik says he would like to look for a law to book malaysiakini under. It's a case of shoot first then decide on the crime. It's going to be one of those 'shoot myself in the foot' issues which the Malaysian government is quite well versed with.

Now two ministers are involved and the matter - I don't believe it! - is going to got to court. You will have the attorney-general's time as well as the prosecuting officers', the judges' and the court officials'.

They will be deliberating for weeks, if not months and years It will cost the public thousands of ringgit to pursue this matter. Is it worth it? Maybe the government wants to cripple malaysiakini before the next general election.

For goodness sake, if they are as learned as they make themselves out to be, the ministers should stop acting so foolishly and let the joke rest. Perhaps the money and time could be put into better use, like for example, prosecuting the high-profile corrupt individuals instead.

The public is quite fed up with this waiting game and this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
