This can only rebound adversely on the ministers concerned for their lack of sense of humour and pettiness.

What good is it to pursue the matter other than to punish malaysiakini for being an Internet news publisher and a forum for independent views which happens to be mostly critical of the government?

In fact, the planned clampdown might backfire like the incident before when malaysiakini was raided by the police and received international publicity and support.

Lately, Barisan Nasional parliamentarians seem to have nothing better to do other than to pick on April Fool's jokes and MAS uniforms . Some took cheap shots at female opposition MPs to get cheap publicity, which only reflects their childish behaviour not unlike schoolboys'.
