Public shouldnt pay for sins of bailed-out cronies

Why is it that the common people have been made to pay for any failed government-linked corporations or projects? In the past, Petronas played the role of savior for any failed government-linked ventures, either directly or indirectly.

For example, Bank Bumiputera, Malaysian International Shipping Corporation, Malaysian Airlines, Renong were all bailed out with money contributed to a large extent by Petronas.

Now, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased in order to pay back to Petronas, which means the burden is now placed on the common people.

Whereas the top management of such bailed-out organisations are living a very good life and still have titles in front of their names. Indirectly, this means the government isn't too concerned about their mismanagement of the said organisations.

Tell me, is this fair? No matter what good they might had done for the country before, those who have mismanaged or sabotaged government-linked ventures have committed an act of treason and should be punished accordingly.

The common people shouldn't be made to pay for their wanton mistakes.
