I refer to the newspaper reports which state that the ex-prime minister is concerned about the pervasiveness of corruption in the country. This statement by him is surely the height of hypocrisy.

If corruption is said to exist in Malaysia, which it does, it flourished and prospered most during the Tun's regime. How else can you explain a cop who is fearless enough to declare assets worth RM34 million?

There were so many incidences of corruption and abuses of power during the Tun's regime. When the Tun first came to power , I was overawed by his his slogan of 'Bersih, Cekap dan Amanah'. I guess I was too green then.

With the kind of corruption he festered and promoted ( where everything is 'boleh'), it shocking to hear him now shouting about corruption.

Conscience, where art thou?
