I refer to the letter Let's force AirAsia to reform and other similar letters of complaint against AirAsia.

I don't know what the fuss is all about, but the writer obviously is free to vote with his or her feet. If the airline's service really sucks big time, then don't use the airline. It is as simple as that.

In fact, the writer's suggestion in agitating for support to use other airlines until AirAsia 'acknowledges and corrects its approach'. Precisely. If one is not happy with AirAsia, then one is free to patronise other carriers.

But I wouldn't ask AirAsia to 'acknowledge and correct its approach'. What is there to acknowledge? What is there to correct?

For crying out loud, AirAsia is a low-cost carrier (LCC), a no-frills carrier. Its modus operandi is different from the traditional airlines. Why do you think its fares are so low? Why do you think AirAsia can charge RM50 while other airlines are charging RM500 for the same route?

Wake up. LCCs are for those who are on a budget holiday or for those who have time on their hands and do not mind the uncertainty of flight times. If time is the essence, then don't fly LCCs. Period.
