I am totally appalled and disgusted to read about the mob attack on Ayah Pin's commune which took place recently. The police must ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly and charged with endangering the peace.

If Ayah Pin has broken any law, let the law deal with him. Mob justice like the one that took place should not be condoned by a lawful society such as ours. Everyone is entitled to their day in court and the events only show how prejudiced some mindless lots are.

This must be stopped at once, as otherwise legitimate religious faith symbols of others may also be subjected to such attacks the next time around.
