The capture of Palestinian youngsters at Israeli checkpoints while carrying explosives on has turned into a phenomenon. What is noticeable is that the media are there at these checkpoints each and every time a time a Palestinian is caught.
It is very hard to believe the authenticity of these 'captures' due to the striking dumbness of the alleged freedom fighters caught. One would also expect that the Palestine organisations - blamed by Israel to have produced these bombers - would have at least learnt from their repeated failures.
Over the years, Israel has employed a good number of Palestinian collaborators who are skilled in creating the image of revolutionaries who devote their lives for the liberation of Palestine. These collaborators, including the ones detained at checkpoints with 'bombs', have been used by the Israelis to distort the image of the Palestinian fighting factions.
So many Palestinians have been killed by the Israelis before getting to their targets, and so many times have the Palestinians have been the subject of international criticism.
Rational analyses of how these teenagers are caught and displayed to the media give a strong indication of the Israeli indulgence of recruiting teenagers for disinformation To reveal the truth, independent investigations would certainly be helpful.
