I refer to your report Probe the conspiracy against Anwar, Pak Lah told. I fully agree with the call made by Keadilan's Badrul Hisham Shaharin.

The most despicable state-sponsored conspiracy the world has ever seen against a person must now be exposed in a comprehensive, thorough and detailed manner leaving no stone unturned. This must be done for two major reasons.

One, to shame and reprimand all the perpetrators so that they are held individually accountable for their despicable, or even criminal, acts in concocting and circulating rumours, abusing state machineries like the police Special Branch, police commandos (who arrested Anwar Ibrahim), personnel in the AG Chambers (who prosecuted a false case) as well as the foreign diplomatic services (who had to tell lies to their governments, media and business communities).

Two, to serve as lesson and warning to future generations of Malaysians so that they are well-educated as to how depraved people in high places could become when their positions, powers, egos and financial well-beings are threatened or felt to be threatened.

One specific area that needs to be targeted for investigation is the black propaganda units attached to Umno mouthpieces like the New Straits Times and Utusan Malaysia which helped to legitimatise rumours, libels and defamations of some depraved politicos and their hired scribes throough 'news reports' and 'commentaries'.

Names must be named to hold all the perpetrators forever responsible and accountable to Malaysia and the world.

I also think private researchers should also take up the challenge to compile complete reports on the conspiracy against Anwar Ibrahim to serve as reference materials for future generations.
