I refer to your report Procedure ignored in distribution of Zam's book .

Just by reading it, this news item on a book written by another one of our Towering Glocals, I can plainly conclude that it is seditious, racially-motivated and is leading to divisive politics in Malaysia.

What more when it is coming from a deputy information minister whom I suppose is intent on publicising to the world that Malaysia is a racially-run and segregationist nation under the guise of being a harmonious, united and multicultural society!

All the stuff written there is obviously sacrosanct to the Malays and therefore not seditious, nor flagrantly racist. Just have the side of the non-Malays (excluding the MCA, MIC) written and the issue becomes a case for investigation by the attorney-general, the police, the ACA and any other number of Umno-infiltrated organisations.

The spectre of what Dr Mahathir Mohamad had propounded during his 'statesman' days about the Sept 11 incident seems necessary for the present leadership of Abdullah Ahamd Badawi to take note and that is 'the root causes of terrorism must be solved' if the world wants to see peaceful and harmonious living, or something similar.

The root cause of any future disharmony in Malaysia would certainly lead us to conclude that we Malaysians 'slept' and felt it was 'not my problem', while the anarchists within and without the government went about their work peacefully and harmoniously.

So much for all the good work of our founding fathers.
