I refer to the article How Malaysia has failed its youth.

The outcome of the student council elections in the universities signifies what the country is going to be like in five to 10 years time. This behaviour will teach our younger generations to imitate without thinking about the consequences of their actions.

It is sad to hear that the government behaved in such manner, using divide and conquer tactics in order to achieve its purpose. This will not go well with any intention to make our youths competitive in the global village.

As for the pro-government students who won, youth that won, they should know that it is of no value to be in power just for show,

Since the power is in your hands now, use it wisely to build better youths with the right mindset.

As for the losing teams, do not stop your struggle because your voices are still needed as a balancing force in the continuum. Serve the right cause and you'll be rewarded for your deeds, either tangibly or intangibly.

Our youth should not be corrupted with narrow mindsets and a disregard for universal good values. They should be given a fair ground to test their capabilities to face future challenges.
