My name is Satrio and I am an Indonesian. This is in response to the comment of one Abdul Hadi Awang of PAS who demanded Indonesia show proof that slain Islamic militant Azahari Husin had been behind all the terrorist bombings. He said that the allegations against Azahari were like the allegations made against Iraq having weapons of mass destruction.

I would like to say that Hadi's comments are just political to accommodate his party interests. The Indonesian police are not stupid and have collected more than enough evidence to show that Azahari was a mass murderer (I don't know whether Hadi prefers to use this the term than 'a terrorist').

Ask the bombers of the JW Marriott Hotel, the Australian Embassy and the two Bali bombings. They all mentioned his name and plus, there is the videotape that the police had found.

In the first place, we Indonesians didn't need that man or his preaching in our country. We never invited him or his friend to come here. To me, having a gun and more than 30 homemade bombs and shooting at police in a foreign country is enough evidence. Whether he was a terrorist, a jihadist or whatever, the way he reacted to the police was more than enough evidence that he was a troublemaker.

If PAS would love to have had that kind of man or his ideology, the pleasure is all ours. Take the other one too (Nordin M Top, also a Malaysian). He can preach whatever he wants to preach in his own homeland. Maybe he would also love to join PAS.

At the end of the day, we are happy that Azahari was taken down.
