I am extremely appalled and flabbergasted at the challenges and counter-challenges being issued by both PAS and BN about each other's elected representative resigning en bloc and asking for new elections to be held.
It appears that both sides have scant (or none whatsoever) regards for democracy. The Kelantan electorate elected them for a fixed term to serve them, not to play games with each other and waste taxpayers' money by having reelection after reelection before the due date.
It is even more alarming when I read in the papers that the deputy prime minister himself had endorsed these challenges from Umno and dared the PAS state government to resign.
They should stop it at once and concentrate on the they have been elected to perform, that is overseeing and administrating the state for the people's benefit.
And these people wonder why many of us are not even bothered to register as voters? Why should we? We don't wish to be party to electing clowns to the state assembly.
