The letter Stop publishing politically explosives articles is ignorant of the fact that in malaysiakini , different perspectives of a given issue are given due expression. I was very pleased and glad as a Christian Malaysian to be able to read Thailand's gentle Islam as well as Syariah Lawyers Association head Mohamad Burok's very rational views about the sad case of M Moorthy. If given the freedom from the imperial Internal Security Ministry led by the prime minister, I do believe that even the mainstream press will do likewise in publishing all-round views.

In today's Malaysia, the government cannot expect the Malaysian public to be like the proverbial frog under the coconut shell or the proverbial three monkeys who see, hear and say nothing. Your actions will be exposed and become transparent whether you plan it that way or not. Your double standards have become too obvious to all but the politically myopic. Corruption, nepotism and injustice have become too rampant to be veiled from the public's eyes. Enough is enough.

Reasonable Malaysians of all creed, culture and race know what is just and what is not. The double standards must stop. The prime minister and the ruling parties must take responsibility for their errant ways or lose the right to rule altogether. The police must be reined in and their heavy-handed and corrupt ways punished.

Errant BN politicians and police chiefs must be dismissed. How long does the Malaysian public have to wait till we see the real culprits take the blame? For the Malaysian government, only others are to blame - never themselves, never the authorities it has set in place.

Come on Malaysia, right is right, wrong is wrong. Justice demands action. You don't get justice by forcing out two editors. You get justice by getting to the bottom of things and fixing the real problems, punishing the real perpetrators of wrongful action. The buck stops with an inept and unfair government.
