Helen Ang's smug response (Black September: Shooting the messenger) to her critics and her derisory reference to Malaysia only reinforces my belief that she is a Zionist sympathiser and propagandist.

To only focus on the terror of the oppressed without even a tangential reference to its cause and then to claim this is as a "self-evident line of narration" is nothing but a cop-out to conceal ones' prejudices.

Her "bigger half of the world (may) acknowledge Israel as a legitimate part of the global community", but then a bigger half once did support apartheid South Africa; and Israel is an apartheid state the way South Africa was.

I wonder why this does not seem to send a chill down her spine?

Helen Ang may have her doubts about "a statesman with the stature of Nelson Mandela or Desmond Tutu evolving from Hamas" for whatever reason. But there can be no doubt that one is never going to see such a person from Israel.
