Darshan Singh Khaira's letter explains it all. No doubt Dr Mahathir Mohamad should be given the trust to lead future negotiations with Singapore. It does not mean Pak Lah's cabinet must abide by his rules. But at least he knows more behind Tanjung Pagar and the water issues.

KTM should not be losing its ground when the agreement signed almost 100 years ago clearly states that KTM and Malaysia hold all rights as long as there is a sun and a moon in the horizon.

Darshan reminds us of all the disguises and tactics taken by Lee Kuan Yew since 1960 to advance his political ambition in the Malay archipelago. The recent rejection of the Indonesian request to retrieve money illegally taken out of Indonesia shows the true face of the Singaporean leadership towards all neighbours. They love to prosper at the expense of their neighbours.

We don't need a new bridge. We only need to uphold the rights of KTM to build a double railway track into Tg Pagar. Since by agreement the station and land belongs to KTM, our trains should be the main link of transportation into Singapore.
