MGG Pillai was the man who coined the word Bolehland. It is a great loss for a country when a person like Pillai passes away.
Thousands of words were written or will be written by both those who knew him personally or did not. We only realise a man's or woman's contribution once the person is no more in this world. We, as human beings, like to ponder about the person's contribution towards society because we want the society to still remember him or her.
In this sense, I make a conclusion that throughout his life, MGG simply did the right thing by writing what he thought was right. I believe he basically lived by what Gandhi used to say. I would like to quote that:
'You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power; maybe not in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.' Mahatma Ghandi.
MGG believed that, one day there would be fruit from what he has written all this while.
Goodbye Mr Pillai, till we meet again.
