I refer to your report MP: 'So what if my company is involved?'

Pak Lah would have come out smelling like roses if he had only gone against what his deputy said and reconsidered Shahrir Abdul Samad's appointment as chairman of the Backbenchers Club.

The rakyat would then have accepted the fact that Pak Lah should be the one to lead Malaysia and never his deputy. However, he did not sense the ground and the rakyat's overwhelming support for Shahrir.

Now, the rakyat knows for a fact that our prime minister is just another spin-meister, coining catchy phrases and promising the sky.

It is a great disappointment that not only has the BBC lost Shahrir as their leader but also that the rakyat has lost confidence in their prime minister.

If the BN MPs toe the line despite what is good for the people, then they might as well toe the line as the opposition. Enough charades and clowning around in Parliament.
