Now is the time - I would like to ask DAP, Parti Keadilan and any other political party to let Malaysians know your manifestoes and agenda for change, if we are to consider you for the next general election.

On behalf of other Malaysians, I would like to know this within the next few months and not two weeks before the election. I would like to see your plan of action to address local as well as international issues. Local issues would include how you are going to address the rising cost of living, the privatisation of healthcare and water; the existence of restrictive laws and the list goes on. On the international arena, how are you going to address the Gatt, Trips, the global climate change and the list goes on.

It is time for Malaysians to do their homework and start remembering history. People of all races fought for this country's independence. The prosperity of this country was because of mutual cooperation and the hard work of all Malaysians.

Take a good look around you. Malaysia is what it is today because of we the people. The state of affairs around you, whether good or bad, is our responsibility.

I believe that we are all sick and tired of politicians using religion and ethnicity as a dividing tool and treating the people of this country as idiots. It is time to let them know that we want this kind of politics to stop. As we celebrate our 50th year of independence, we demand for politicians who are with integrity and who are also intelligent. We will no longer accept sexist, uncouth and dim-witted members of parliament, mentri besars and ministers.

So whether it is Barisan National or PAS, or anyone else who tries to use religion and ethnicity in their manifesto, I urge the people of Malaysia to please send the message that this is no longer acceptable nor would it be tolerated. We cannot allow the present state of affairs to go on because we have a duty to our children, which is to ensure that they have a home that is safe and secure.

It is time for us to move forward as one people and take control of our destiny instead of leaving it to the politicians of today who have abused the positions that we had entrusted them with.
