We should all welcome Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad openly criticising the government of the day. In his time, Tun did a lot of great things for Malaysia but a lot of terrible things also took place.

He should now be encouraged to speak out against all the corruption, cronyism, nepotism and poor governance that is going on as we go about our daily lives.

Tun is undoubtedly the best qualified to do this as the very same things he is accusing the government now of were rampant during his days as prime minister as well.

What has been done cannot be undone but perhaps Tun's actions from the 'outside' will mitigate for some of his mistakes and crimes of the past.

He'd better do it as the rest of us are not so privileged!
