Dear Khairy Jamaluddin,
I have been reading about you, your developments and am impressed with your talents and meteoric rise in the Malaysia political arena. Everyday, our motherland hopes for its people to be equipped with the will, wit and guile to ably receive the baton of this present batch of leadership.
You, Saudara Khairy, do seem to possess all qualities that this family so desires for advancement and accolades in the world arena.
But Saudara Khairy, you seemed to have chosen to travel a path well travelled by previous leaders. For instance, you trying to storm the meeting at KLCC to hand a memorandum to Aunty Rice. Unfortunately, it did seem rather an uncouth and an uneducated act to me.
I know it generates excitement and talk amongst your compatriots, but did you not realise that your actions, when seen through other end of the kaleidoscope, regrettably was 'kurang beradab'. And, oh my, the picture of you rudely pushing to get through the doors at KLCC was not appealing at all to the hearts of our community.
You know, I had hoped you wouldn't rush to perform another daredevil stunt after that fiasco. I would have expected that your academic grounding would restrain and perhaps guide your actions intelligently. But time and again, you have brought disappointment and upset sisterly hopes and feelings.
I know it is difficult to swim against the tide of unenlightenment within your age group. But must you stoop so low and sink below mediocrity and use our neighbour MCA as a fall guy, a convenient tool for you to raise your profile with your Umno Youth friends? How could you crudely accuse the Chinese Malaysian community of taking advantage of Umno's infighting to make demands to advance their interests?
All of my friends are now not so enamoured by your discriminatory behaviour and opportunist stance. They are hurt and angry. See what you have done, my youthful saudara? I wish you and the group of friends you are hanging out with will learn to turn your minds towards the light, reflect deeply and not simply submit to making crass and inflammatory statements at whim.
Yes, youth is a perilous time and you may be racing at full throttle towards your nirvana of self- esteem and actualisation. I will put it to you now that there are other paths and means which are more acceptable, civilised and noble towards stewardship of the government.
Why not consider the less travelled path and perform simple acts such as bridge-building between BN, the opposition and the rakyat? Now, there you go.
