Whilst Jiva feels that the prime minister is not keeping up to his promise of 'openness', it must be remembered that his 'openness' is far better than that of the previous prime minister.
We have also to remember that 'change' is a process and if the process is slow, it will prove to be more sustainable. This is unlike a revolution where change is very quick and sometimes very traumatic.
I say that the 'change', which our prime minister is working on, is much like an evolution rather than revolution.
The change that some are calling for may not happen in their time, but it will definitely be there in the future. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is a very sane and thoughtful person. We just need to wait.
