I refer to the letter, Not 'enriched' by MAS frequent flyer .
My mother-in-law too was 'stiffed' by MAS Enrich. Being a frequent flier, she had booked her flight (Kuala Lumpur - Frankfurt) hoping to draw down her Enrich points to upgrade her seating (from economy to business class).
My mother-in-law had called the MAS ticketing agent in Melaka and she was assured that they would try to procure the upgrade based on the draw-down of her Enrich points. To our great disappointment, upon her checking in at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, she was informed that her Enrich's records do not show any point being traded in. Why bother securing an early booking if MAS never intended for the upgrade to be effected?
If this is the way MAS operates, might as well just open our skies. Perhaps other airline companies are serious and proud of their company enough to go that extra mile for their clients.
