I am pleased to say that the situation has now been resolved to my entire satisfaction.
On the same day that I wrote to malaysiakini, I worked out MAS CEO Idris Jala's e-mail address and e-mailed him. He replied straight away and asked his staff to deal with the matter; which they did immediately.
