As a Malaysian, I find that the letter Chinese M'sians must accept their lot by FN very offensive, though I am not surprise that there are people such as him in the country.

It is close-minded, holier-than-thou people like FN, who chooses to hide behind a pseudonym, and criticise other country's ex-leader, our country's leaders and other races.

I like to ask what FN was trying to convey, when he said, "Not to forget, Chinese are only immigrants" and "With the help of the New Economy Policy in the past 35 years, I would say the Malays have slowly gained back something that has long belonged to them."

If FN has been paying attention to his history classes back in school, yes, Chinese are immigrants. So too are the Malays - they first came from Java in the pre-Melaka sultanate. If he really mean that statement of 'gaining something back', the people that he should refer to are the Orang Asli. They have been here far longer than any other races.

And no, this topic wasn't brought up before because it's 'sensitive'. We have not talked about religion, sex, birth, interracial marriage, drugs, gangsterism and politics, among other things, because they are 'sensitive'. Wake up and smell the flowers, FN. Dialogues and forums have been held to discuss all these issues before. It is you who are being ignorant about them. Avoiding a subject because it is 'sensitive' will only push us faster into the dark ages.

Then FN handsomely said, "I feel that the government should further restrict the economic interests of the Chinese because there are just not enough wealthy Malays in the country to bring about a balance in wealth distribution." This is utter nonsense.

The NEP was introduced to raise the standard of living of the hardcore poor and the lower-class rakyat, regardless of race. It was never meant to produce 'wealthy Malays'. Everyone knows that. Why should the government be making 'wealthier Malays' when it should be helping general lower-class citizens, regardless of race, to a better standard of living?

You are a hypocrite FN, for demanding the MCA minister to be sacked. First, you said "I hereby demand that this minister be sacked immediately." Then you go against your own words by saying "no one should question the integrity of other cabinet ministers publicly". Well, apparently you are a 'no one' who demands a minister be sacked.

And on the same topic, is it very wrong to question authority when one finds something is not right? If you paid a friend RM2 to buy a pack of nasi lemak, but he came back to you with a nasi lemak with a price tag of RM0.50, shouldn't you ask where the other RM1.50 went? I would ask him even if he's my best friend, and I wouldn't worry about 'hurting' his feelings because clearly, he has lost my trust in him.

FN, you said, "The MCA minister has brought great damage to the current system by asking for transparency." So I assume, by this statement of yours that you would rather have the system which do everything with your money without telling you how they spent your money and what they did with it? Transparency is the only method to show that a government is truly working for its rakyat.

Your final paragraph is contradicting in so many ways. Can a multiracial country prosper by strengthening one single race? Can it be harmonious when "the Chinese just have to accept the fact that living in Malaysia means they have to be subordinate to the 'sons of the soil'"?

You are one person the country don't need, FN.
