I refer to the letter Only one God in control of universe .
The writer's logic is superficial. The so-called 'gods' were created and named by people, perhaps with divine assistance. It is quite natural the 'gods' may differ in name. These 'gods' were created to serve people to lead better quality lives.
Over time, many other beliefs were developed and they differed or changed based on new experiences, thoughts and new needs. Some had reformists, others did not.
The divine guidance has not been understood by many and so a competition is ongoing claiming one religion is superior to another. What I see is a great deal of talk about the virtues of each religion.
Religious teachings are meant to be applied in our lives. In practice? Look at the corruption, destruction, deceit, and lies! Religion did not fail them. The people failed the religion.
You are no special candidate to heaven because you believe in a certain religion. I believe you have to earn your points on earth to qualify.
