I refer to Kashminder Singh's AirAsia pushing its planes beyond the limit?

Despite the numerous complaints in the media, AirAsia does not seem to bother or heed the very people whose patronage is the reason for its survival and existence. Perhaps the management thinks these passengers are irritants who are best ignored, that there are enough non-complaining customers to fill the coffers of AirAsia for many years to come.

Having achieved a number of milestones and accolades, arrogance may have set in. And, the common corporate attitude of profiting at any expense - even at the expense of customers.

What Malaysians need are viable alternatives to give such egoistic companies a run for their money. Companies that will stay true to their client's charter to the very end.

How many times have we seen companies and service providers flirting with the warning 'Ignore your customers at your own peril'?

Tony Fernandez is now busy dabbling in other ventures. As the next Richard Branson, he has his hands full with 'Tune This Sdn Bhd' and 'Tune That Sdn Bhd'. He is now playing many different tunes. Perhaps he needs some tuning himself.
