I refer to the letter Apology demanded from racist minister .

I am sad and angry to learn of the racist remarks from a highly-educated minister, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Jamaludin Jarjis. With this remark, he deserves to be sacked.

I have tried to understand what motivated him to say such thing. Does this make him feel proud that he is Malay? Or does he feel that as a race, the Malays are not good enough and that he needs to 'downgrade' some other race to get his race more superior?

Did he intend to remind the Indians that they should feel blessed now that they can afford to go overseas for education?

Is he really trying to make someone really ashamed of her race?

We all know that racism is very much alive in Malaysia. Our prime minister, Pak Lah should sack Jamaludin to show him that such racist remarks are unacceptable.

I would like to appeal to all Malaysians to keep sending in their letters in support of Dr Sheela Moorthy.
