While the attention grabbing headlines of our newspapers on the sensational Altantuya murder trial make the perfect script for a Hollywood blockbuster movie and publishing rights for a book deal, it is unfortunate that there are unscrupulous parties out to take advantage of the victim's death.

The PKR information chief has chosen to "cash-in" on the agony of the Shaariibuu family by faking photographs showing a woman seated and dining together in France with Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak and the third accused, Abdul Razak Baginda, who is charged with abetment to murder.

It was reported that Tian Chua admitted "he had created (the photograph) personally, was merely fantasy and a work of art." What was he fantasizing about? While our Barisan Nasional leaders are busy drawing up public policies and addressing national issues at stake, all PKR leaders can think about and probably do is just fantasize in la-la land about la-la land. One can't help but wonder what goes on in Tian Chua's mind when he fantazises.

Moreover, readers can't help but connect this sick doctored photograph with that of the cartoon of DAP leaders in pornographic poses. Could fantasizing opposition leaders with nothing else to do be the real culprits behind the DAP porno cartoon images? After all, perhaps this is one way for them to unleash their confused artistic talents in so-called "work of art"

Remaining defiant without an iota of sympathy for the deceased family, Tian Chua reportedly "insisted he would not retract the photograph or apologise to anyone." Is this the sort of leader that Malaysia wants? An opposition that is insensitive to the anguish of anyone whose loved one has just departed.

While Najib has stated that he will make no comments to avoid subjudicing the trial, any sane human being would have expected Tian Chua to have more common sense. It appears that Tian Chua has abused the concept of freedom of expression for his "work of art" which comes with responsibility. Try pulling the same stunt in Singapore and see what you get?
