There are some who have criticised Wee Meng Chee for his 'Negerakuku' video clip. I hope all those who disagree (and they have a right to their opinion) have actually seen the whole clip and understood it in its context.

If they have not, they should keep their opinions to themselves. Please understand the video in the correct context. Most of what was said was in metaphors. Do all the non-Chinese who viewed the clip in full understood what was being said?

I doubt it. Even a Chinese would have difficulty in hearing and understanding what was rapped.

As for seeing Wee in court, well, the government has the right to prosecute and Wee the right to fair and good defence. In a court of law, that video clip's content will be taken apart and every scene examined, every dialogue anaylsed. That is, in a real court of law and not a 'show trial'. Was what was rapped true? In what context? Has the 'NegaraKu' been defiled? Are the police really corrupt?

The government will have a lot of answering to do. Let's see the government uphold and defend itself. Let's see who should apologise. Let's see who prevails.
