I refer to the Malaysiakini report Racial politics will destroy us .

Gerakan Wanita chief Tan Lian Hoe has the right mindset; however I will add that she and perhaps Gerakan are in the wrong team. Racial politics will always be exploited to line the pockets of those who stand to gain from this ideology.

The BN will always be a party based on racial politics. Each individual party has its own agenda and the agendas are diametrically opposed.

Gerakan and its leaders should think carefully and clearly about their future in BN. It is time to move on to a more progressive party and one that espouses a Malaysia for all Malaysians and support for all Malaysians who are poor and marginalised irregardless of race.

It is time that members and leaders of Gerakan work together with other non-race based parties in Malaysia to form the next government so that we can look forward to compete with other nations out there.

Too much time and resources are now being spent fighting ourselves instead of working together to be more competitive.
