I refer to Malaysiakini report Puteri rejects Namewee's apology .

While I strongly disagree with Namewee's rendition of his rap song which was really distasteful to all of us, I do not see any points in hounding this young man any further. I believe he had been punished more than enough for his silly deed. A man of this age must have been shivering with no one to turn to for help, except his parents who are equally helpless.

That was the very reason he apologised to the all Malaysians who felt disgusted by his deed.

Now, instead of using the Umno meeting as a platform to further punish a minnow, I believe Puteri should seize this golden opportunity to pursue issue more serious matter like fighting corruption and abuse of power in high places.

Corruption and abuse of power could bring down a nation and thereby causing all of us untold sufferings. A case in question which is till fresh on everyone's mind is the Lingam tape . If Puteri could not smell something fishy in the recording, it is rather regretful.

But I believe among the thousand of delegates in their midst, there would be some who could sense something is wrong in the tape. Thus, I believe it would be more worth their while to bring up this issue and insist that the authority investigate thoroughly the contents of the recording and have them brought to book, if the case warrants it.

The poor rakyat would really appreciate it.
