PPP chief M Kayveas has finally conceded that he had made a fool of himself - he has now requested to meet MIC boss S Samy Vellu for reconciliation over their recent bickering on the MIC-PPP feud. It seems that Kayveas' plot to get publicity and recognition from the Barisan Nasional leadership and the general public has failed.

MIC should continue to pursue the expulsion of PPP from the Barisan Nasional's fold or to deprived Kayveas and his PPP from contesting for any seat in the coming polls as a punishment for humiliating the 'Big Brother' in the ruling coalition.

We should applaud the comments by Malacca Chief Minister Ali Rustam at the recent Malacca state PPP convention. If the BN leadership were to offer Kayveas a seat, it would encourage future similar bickering from other small BN component parties. Indeed, if one does not subscribe to the agreed principles of the BN, it must leave the coalition.

Kayveas has been using these sorts of tactics far too often and it seems that he is desperate to secure a seat in the coming polls to keep his position within the PPP. He even goes to the extent of creating animosity among other BN component parties to fulfill his desperate desire and aspirations.

It is time for the BN leadership to take stock of the situation.
