Today, when I turn in every direction, I very frequently see foreigners (it is very easy to identify a foreigner) unlike those days. I feel that the number of foreigners in Malaysia is far from what we generally think it is.

Can the related authorities come up with the figures for the following questions (I only want to know the top four countries of origin). I want to know the figures from the year 1993 to 2007 (15 years).

1. The total number of legal immigrants allowed into Malaysia;

2. The total number of illegal immigrants (realistic estimates please);

3. The total number of immigrants granted permanent resident Status;

4. The total number of immigrants granted Malaysian citizenship and

5. If an Indonesian immigrant gains Malaysian citizenship, will he be classified as bumiputera?

Please enlighten me.
