I wish to comment on Daim Zainuddin's reasons for approving the purchase of MAS shares at more than double the price. I find the argument that MAS is our national carrier irrelevant. If MAS is in trouble, then it is advisable to inject funds into it. How does buying MAS shares at a grossly inflated price benefit MAS? This benefits the seller, who is Tajudin Ramli. I think the winner here is Tajudin and not MAS.

Daim has still not given a satisfactory answer to the allegations made by Anwar Ibrahim that certain businessmen such as Tajudin are proxies of Daim.
