I refer to the Malaysiakini report Samy to defend post one last time .

‘Embattled MIC president S Samy Vellu is not ready to thrown in the towel just yet As for now, the MIC supremo said he would be focusing on overhauling the party at all levels, starting with a series of meetings with grassroots leaders from next month,’ says the above report.

Let me tell dear Samy and his honchos to stop all this stupidity that he and MIC are still relevant to the Indian community. I am not an MIC member but will join and support the MIC only if the following are adhered:

1. Samy Vellu step downs as MIC leader and stop claiming that he is still the sole representative for the Indian community.

2. The present MIC Central Working Committee (CWC) steps down en-bloc.

Please do not worry what will happen to the Indians in Malaysia as we are well represented in Parliament now. If Samy is still worried that the Indians would not be well represented, please let me assure him that it should be least of his worries as we are more prepared to take over the fight for our community without his assistance.

There are many people who’ll offer themselves for the MIC presidency if required and I believe that there a whole lot other Indians from the professional and business groups who will be more than willing to take over the MIC leadership but only if Samy and his so-called leaders step down.

Samy, let me tell you again that you and your honchos are irrelevant now and stop playing up the Hindraf issue for your political mileage.

I challenge the present MIC members to challenge themselves to issue a motion of no confidence against their present leaders during their next MIC annual general meeting or at least hold Samy accountable for the Maika Holdings, Telekom shares and other scandals.

Please don’t talk about MIC still being relevant to the Indian community as Samy and his gang have taken us on a roller-coaster ride for the past 28 years.

Even in a small organisation they talk about succession planning and create a pool of possible candidates to take over the leadership once the leader retires. We’ve seen Samy’s plans for the past 28 years on this and yet he has the cheek to tell us that he needs another term to complete whatever he started for the betterment for the Indian community.

And what is it he has started? Absolutely nothing! I am not sure whether to cry or to feel sorry for the Indian community. I urge the Indian community to use the power of Makkal Shakti again to put a stop to this mockery once and for all.
