Could what Prof P Ramasamy wrote in 'Sri Lankan mission skittish over Tigers' (May 3) really be true? A tiny island nation with no power in comparison to Malaysia could force Malaysia to do what Sri Lanka wants? Force journalists in other countries to do what Sri Lanka wants them to do? I do not have to explain anything. Sri Lanka cannot even control the journalists in Sri Lanka let alone the ones outside the country.

This is an example of the spreading of gross misinformation by the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) supporters/sympathisers. It is not only an insult to your website, it is an insult to the entire community of journalists and the Malaysian government to suggest that Sri Lanka can and does control journalists in Malaysia.

I hope in the future you will look into the content of an article and see if there is an iota of truth in it before you publish it.
