Regardless what the politicians may say, Malays can rise above anything if they hunger for success. I know of many successful Malays with no connection to Umno or Umnoputras.

But if the politicians and their wannabes want to harp over the quota system, all the non-bumiputra top students should go to Singapore, the US, Australia, the UK... and take up permanent residency there, because your own country does not see you fit to study in local institutions of higher learning, and neither does it see you fit to contribute to the success of Malaysia.

As patriotic as you may be, if at the end of the day the politicians are not willing to accept that you can be a successful contributing citizen of Malaysia, then be damned with it all. Go to a country that will cherish you as a contributing member of her society.
