I am afraid that there is no more impartial execution of justice.

I am very afraid police actions are more and more like that of thugs and criminals than the enforcers of the law. Why balaclava and assault weapons and a convoy of police vehicles to wrongfully arrest an unarmed man? Are they so scared to reveal their identity or under pressure to act against their wills?

I am afraid our elected government is on a panic overdrive and is creating more mistrust and anger by its actions and 'stupid' statements to cover wrongdoings.

I am afraid the social and economic situation of my beloved country is going to worsen due to the government's neglect or loss of focus in managing the country's pressing problems.

I am very afraid our prime minister is a mere spectator than a leader of integrity, honour and authority. He lets his subordinates take control and hides behind them.

I am very afraid there are more crimes being committed than before and we have to depend on our own selves and friends for protection and safety. Our police have far more ‘important’ things to do.

Pickpocketing, housebreaking, handbag snatching, extortion, auto theft, etc, are all common things today and keep increasing. Our reports to the police normally gets the response ' Itu biasa lah ' without any assurance that they will do their best to catch those responsible.

I am afraid our rich and wealthy country blessed by God without any major natural disasters, may be turned from a land of plenty to a land of empty if no serious and immediate actions are taken to address the rampant corruption and abuse of power by the people in authority.

I am very afraid the national unity we have painstakingly built over the years - no thanks to the government's efforts - will be shattered one day in the near future.

I am afraid, I am afraid....
