Internal Security Act (ISA) is an inhumane rule of law that does not differ much from the communist system. A truly democratic society which propagates and practises free elections, freedom and human rights as the paramount ingredients of a ‘for the people, of the people and by the people’ nation, would have abolished this sinful and unlawful act long time ago.

The British, who established this law of attrition to contain the communist uprising that was threatening the nation at that time, kept it to their advantage even after the communist threat was completely eradicated. So the British colonial powers are to be blamed for not doing away with it after its purpose was fulfilled.

The government now uses it very conveniently to suppress any opposition to its rule or authority or seen as threats to its cohorts. Needless to say, it is an act of cowardice.

Our present PM so eloquently proclaimed when he took office that he is the PM for all but very sadly with the unfolding of many detrimental events recently, he just chooses to keep quiet or say the least.

He has failed very miserably in his duties as the premier of this nation by not exerting his leadership and protecting the people but instead, protecting the very people who are bent on stirring trouble and destroying the country.

The grim reminders of May 13, does not hold water anymore as we Malaysians are more in solidarity and fellowship with one another than ever before. We feel pain as a fellow Malaysian is being victimised and hurt because of his/her religion or ethnic background.

I am very proud and hold my head high to be a Malaysian today. We longer see the colour of the skin or religion of the persons being victimised but see the quality and conduct of their character and the bravery shown in their actions.

As Richard Kimble (The Fugitive) would say, "an innocent victim of blind justice". This best decribes the recent happenings.

We should not be intimidated or show any provocation to upset the law enforcement.

The BN empire is crumbling. Even those within the ruling party who used to keep quiet are now voicing out their displeasures. It will not be surprising if they abandon this leaky ship for a better and brighter future for all.

The change is coming and it may come sooner than we expected. The dawn of Pakatan Rakyat in power is close at hand.

Pakatan Rakyat, your first most important task is to abolish ISA and free those detained. It will be like an Emancipation Proclamation for all Malaysians.
