Roof collapse: 'Check Crystal Mosque structure too'

your say ‘Don't waste time setting up an independent panel to investigate the stadium roof collapse. It's better to check on the other buildings. Perhaps the Crystal Mosque as approval was given at around the same time?'

On Stadium roof collapses in Kuala T'ganu

Sayu Sayme: Do not waste time setting up an independent panel to investigate blah, blah blah...

What could we possibly expect at the end? From the MRR2, Matrade and leaking Parliament to problematic hospitals, what action has been taken?

We cannot even see one responsible party. They just play for time to let the people cool down and forget.

Even if KLCC collapsed we would not see any action taken towards any party. This is Malaysia.

Better to spend time and money to check on the other buildings. Perhaps on the Crystal Mosque as its approval was given at around the same time as this stadium?

MJ: One must not question only the contractors but also the officers and authorities who signed the safety certificates for this stadium. Were they incompetent or corrupt?

On Create a 'heroes and traitors' museum

Ong: After reading the views expressed by Omar Mohd Hashim, the chairman of the Malaysian History Association, I think any Tom, Dick and Harry can become a historian.

He seems to think that Chin Peng, an ethnic Chinese communist is a traitor, but made no mention of Chin Peng's Malay communist comrades.

Presumably either because he is not aware of their existence or because he accepts their return.

They all tread the same path and carried out the same atrocious actions in a war. Whether we agree with that war is different matter for a different discussion.

On Najib: No homecoming for Chin Peng

Frustrated Malaysian: As a Malaysian, sometimes I'm quite confused with our leaders. They keep on confusing us by saying that communism is not accepted as a whole in our country.

But now, our PM Najib is in Beijing to pay an official visit to China, a communist country, in order ‘to forge further cooperation whether it be in business, trade, collaborations and even cultural' according to his blog .

It look very funny and confusing when our PM goes to China if they do not support communism.

On Women's activist Toni Kasim dies

Millionth Citizen: One year on after her passing, is the political scenario still the same? Have we seen changes? Is Umno still the same? Is BN still the same?

Has Pakatan achieved anything apart from a few by-election victories?

This is a tribute to this woman whom we do not know very much about but who tirelessly advocated for justice for the poor.

She was the voice of the unfortunate and destitute, striving to be heard in the noisy world of politics.

Well, Toni Kasim, although we have never met, this day goes out in remembrance of you.

And we want to let you know that we will always remember you and your life's work.

On Escaped trio 'enslaved, tortured, abused'

Kumar Krish: I cannot but come to a conclusion that we Asians can be a cruel lot.

Just look at the way some of us treat dogs and foreign workers. Is this part of Najib's ‘1Malaysia' plan?
