Hisham's defence of protesters 'unbelievable'

vox populi small thumbnail ‘Giving an excuse to say that Section 23 residents were unaware is pure nonsense. Technology doesn't lie.'

Hisham: Don't blame cow-head protesters

Democrat : Can't believe Hishammuddin Hussein, the home minister, actually said on a personal note, he felt the protest "in this day and age should be accepted in this world, as the people want their voices to be heard". What about permits, minister? Didn't your boss Najib Razak and ex-boss Mahathir Mohamad said protest and demos were not our culture?

Netty E Komattu : There goes the call for 1Malaysia. Even a retarded person can distinguish right from wrong. Giving an excuse to say that Section 23 residents were unaware is pure nonsense. Technology doesn't lie.

Sang Harimau : I have been staying in a Chinese-majority housing estate for the past 15 years. We never had any ill feelings for having a surau nearby. I am sure there are thousands of such residential areas in Malaysia and no one ever protested. All are happy in the neighbourhood.

Is this minister encouraging the protest and the protesters in the near future? I wonder how this minister can still defend the hooligans for being so disrespectful to others.

Eric Koay : Why not put them all in a stadium to "voice" their view, like what Najib suggested. Or maybe, next time Bersih, anti-ISA or Hindraf should protest in smaller groups, since our honourable home minister approves of it. But I guess, this is the reality in 1Malaysia - 2 standards, and 3 rd -class ministers.

Manhandled MP: It was like TV wrestling, but for real

Ooi Soon Hin : Dear Keshvinder Singh, I would very much like to offer you my sympathy but at the same time can't help but to blame you for your naivety about the police in Bolehland. At least from now on, you will be more careful when dealing with them.

Melayuhk : I do hope that the police brutality and assault on YB Keshvinder and other Pakatan Rakyat assembly representatives and supporters are captured on video. This will be useful in the suit against the police as well as fodder against them in the minds of the rakyat.

Americk Sidhu : Dear Kesh, you have my sympathy and the sympathy of every right thinking member of Malaysian society. I find it incredible that these people in uniform are able to get away with this nonsense every time.

They appear to have no respect for elected representatives of the rakyat who are doing absolutely nothing more than the job they were elected to do. The only reason you received this barbaric treatment is because you are a member of the opposition.

Police report reveals details of RM10 mil donation

Ian2003 : If the donation is meant for MCA, it can be easily made by issuing a cheque to MCA. Why is there any need to pay in cash? This is surely entrapment and a blatant diversion from the actual case. Keep up the good work, Ong Tee Keat!

Ks s: Ultimately it is our (taxpayers) money that is going around in circles. The BN thieves are in charge of our money. They dare not just pocket that money directly as it would be too obvious. So they give contracts to their cronies and friends and get kickbacks from them.

Foreign observers estimate that the amount of money siphoned off by the BN thieves in this way is in the range of hundreds of billion.

Chee Hoe Siew : Five million in two boxes. Can anyone imagine how big the box should be, considering the highest denomination is RM100? How is it that this cannot be done through a bank transaction? Is there anything wrong with the money until it cannot be seen? Certainly when it is in cash, no one can trace its origin.
