MB vs MB: Final appeal on Nov 5

Louis: I hope the judges can come to their senses. Judge according to the law of the country. Do it without fear or favour. If they have to rule against the BN, do it. Upholding principles is paramount. Their judgments will be scrutinised not by Ah Too, Awang or Samy but by very learned individuals and legal eagles.

Remember one of the factors causing the country's losing to our neighbours is the judiciary that is perceived by investors as biased, and corrupt. This is a test case.

Undo all those negative perceptions by ruling fairly. It will do lots of good to the country. The judges have very heavy responsibilities not only to the nation but to their children who would be proud of their fathers for a job well done at the end of the day.

Doc: Right, like we really need to wait till Nov 5 for the Federal Court to rule on who is the rightful MB. Most of us are well aware of the Malaysian judiciary's reputation.

Habib Rak: The judiciary has a long way to redeem itself. Nevertheless, like most citizens of our beloved country, some of the judges are also now more emboldened and are prepared to make the right decision in upholding the law.

Judges are also aware that the time is very near for the BN government imminent collapse. This fear is very real not only among judges but also among police, AG, MACC, army and all other government machinery including the civil service and royalties.

Let's remain positive. Our victory will come for the sake of our beloved country Malaysia. Hidup Malaysia!

Kss: Here is a quick and easy way to find out which way the judgment is likely to go. Just make a list of all the judges that gave adverse rulings against Pakatan Rakyat in the Perak case and the Anwar Ibrahim sodomy case. If their names appear in any of the forthcoming trials you can know the verdict even before the trial starts.

Ric: I do not have confidence that the judiciary will make a fair judgment. Next election will be the real judgement day.

Mangodurian: Is this even newsworthy? Of course, the Pakatan Rakyat guy will lose. Since when did important matters such as these ever get rule in favour of fair play and justice in our kangaroo courts?

Md Imraz Muhammed Ikhbal: Time is indeed of essence. But ruling in accordance with provisions of the law and the constitution is paramount if ever there is integrity left in our courts.

Even some of the rakyat understand and are fully savvy of the law and the fundamentals of separation of power. Surely, our judges cannot be that incompetent.

Thuraisingham Shun: I just hope that the judiciary can expedite this case as a matter of urgency. Some sectors seem to get priority, while others are in limbo.
