MMSP not gov't lackey? 'What a joke'

your say 'In the beginning, the government may seem to heed and bow to some of MMSP's demands. But all that 'dramatics' will end soon and MMSP will be 'sucked' into the BN system.'

Thanenthiran: Makkal Sakthi party not gov't lackey

Yuvan: Whatever that RS Thanenthiran says is rubbish. He has pledged to support BN from the start and now says that MMSP is not a government lackey. What a joke.

In the beginning, the government may seem to heed and bow to some of MMSP's demands. But all that 'dramatics' will end soon and MMSP will be 'sucked' into the BN system.

It will then become just another 'mandore' handing over countless MOUs and petitions to the government and keep 'begging' for some 'peanuts' to the Indian community.

My only advice to Thanenthiran is this: let him not be too enthusiastic and have any big hopes that he and his party will do anything great or meaningful for the Indian community.

It took about 50 years for the Indian community to teach MIC a lesson. But that does not mean that MMSP leaders can expect to 'fool around' with the community for another 50 years.

They may not even last five years.

Jeremy Tankh: Thanenthiran has so much more to learn in politics. Haven't you heard that ‘the enemy of your enemy is your friend'? Why are you attacking Hindraf and Pakatan Rakyat?

Aren't these the enemies of MIC? So you don't think MIC is your real opponent? Come the next general election, when the BN is allocating seats, the MMSP will stand out like a sore thumb.

Then you will know who your real enemies are. In fact, there's no two ways about it.

MMSP will be another mosquito Indian-based party within BN like IPF, PPP and the others.

Fairnessforall: Oh really? Then why don't you tell us what how will PM Najib Razak solve the community's problems and what are his concrete plans to make a change, that is if he has a concrete plan.

Since you claim that the Makkal Sakti Party will support BN maybe you know something the rest of us don't know. Maybe Najib has discussed his so-called concrete plan with you.

So out with it, then we will know what a ‘user' you are. Using your own community for your own selfish needs.

Temenggong: Idealist? Hey, they created the ‘tsunami', and it changed the country. You call that idealism?

Dinish K: You came out of no where when Hindraft 5 were whacked, kicked and thrown into Kamunting.

PKR may have not significantly done anything for the Indians but they are helping all communities such are providing free water for the poor Indians, Malays, Chinese and the natives. That's a good start.

Lim BC : One thing S Samy Vellu says is right - you won't be surprised if one day every Indian will have his/her own party. Good luck.

Gandhi: Thanenthiran, it's so ugly that you have to take a swipe at the neo-Indian reformist movement, Hindraf. Where were you before the ‘idealist' Hindraf?

You are like a child who disowns the parents who nurtured you to become brawny. You are consumed by a sense of making a quick jump into the mainstream political scene.

If you can talk bad about Hindraf, what will prevent you from badmouthing others who have given give you the support now.

Once a traitor always a traitor. It's a pity that you can't perceive the hatred you have got.

Petestop: Spoken like a true politician, friend one day, enemy the next.

Indians have always backed the Umno-dominated BN since Merdeka and tomorrow the majority will still vote for BN even in a by-election.

The recent Merdeka Centre survey showed over 60 percent of the Indian Malaysians support PM Najib Razak.

So the Indians have never left BN, they only left MIC. So enjoy another 50 years of marginalisation.

Zin: I like the way the opposition thinks, especially the supporters. When a party belongs or supports the opposition, they are reformists, like the MMSP.

But when they form parties and support BN, they are ‘lackeys'.

Yet history over the last 18 months will show that if the Indians don't look after themselves, not even the PKR will.

Those of you who are Indians, just sit back, think. See what PKR has done for you all, not how democratic or multi-racial they are. Then try feeding democracy to your children.
