Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud today likened the Sibu by-election as a battle between the propaganda of the opposition and the service record and commitmment of the Barisan Nasional (BN).

"We in the BN, our struggle is to continue to serve the people.

"Our challengers do not speak of any service plan. They are only bringing up issues," he told a gathering at the Malay/Melanau Community Hall in Kampung Hilir in Sibu today.
