Sodomy II: Uphill task for Anwar

your say 'How can we fight them with bows and arrows when they are bulldozing us with their tanks and machine guns?'

Anwar did it to me before: Saiful

Mockingbird: I feel sorry for Anwar Ibrahim. The case is lost before it even started. Blame those warlords in the corridors of power. How can we fight them with bows and arrows when they are bulldozing us with their tanks and machine guns?

Wira: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is unsure how many times he had been sodomised. Assuming that all those times had been non-consensual, it must be difficult to imagine that he had been forced upon so many times by a old man who is far weaker, physically speaking, than him.

I hope Karpal Singh will ask him to demonstrate how an old man could force his way into an unwilling partner with a tight anus, which doctors said had shown no signs of penetration.

Fairnessforall: Sodomised before and still go back for more. And funny thing is, after being sodomised so many times, there is still no evidence of penetration.

Chee Hoe Siew: Saiful's testimony is full of holes. Earlier on he claimed that he was shocked and horrified when Anwar asked him, "Can I f... you today?" If Anwar has done it on him before, how did the shock come about.

Seriously Saiful is trying to patch his story to make it authentic. The problem is that the more he patch, the worse it gets.

Curious Observer: Another curious question - since Saiful has claimed that the sodomy has occurred several times without consent, how come there is zero scarring on his anus?

As a Malaysian, I don't know whether to laugh or cry as this comedy-tragedy trial continues to unfold. The more justice is not seen to be done, the more the rakyat will shift to the opposition.

Teh Thian Hwa: I am no criminal lawyer but shouldn't every element of the charge be proved beyond reasonable doubt? Or does the Malaysian judiciary think that testimony stating the act was non-consensual is of no consequence to the element of the charge stating the act was consensual?

Yeah, maybe leave it to the brilliant Malaysian judiciary to twist things around again. Just give it enough rope, Karpal.

Good Men: Kenapa tak cuci? Saya mahu simpan bukti. Tapi tak buat polis report. How long you going to ‘simpan bukti'? Does this sound like the behaviour of a rape victim?

Would you walk around for several days with your rapist's semen sloshing around in you because you can't decide if you want to lodge a report because you are worried how it might affect your future?

Habib RAK: After reading the Malaysiakini report, Saiful claimed that he had been sodomised before. Were those times consensual? After consulting the top warlords Najib Razak, Mumtaz Jaafar, Khairil Anas, Ezam Mohd Nor and IGP Musa Hassan and Rodwan Yusof, he still went to meet Anwar and claimed he was sodomised, and this time without his consent.

Kgen: A guy who allegedly got raped decided not to shit and not to wash his arsehole in order to keep the evidence. But he did not go to the police for two days. Why didn't he go to the police immediately and let go of the evidence so that he can shit?

And he claims he had been sodomised many times before against his will so why did he not report to the police before? His story has holes big enough to drive a lorry through.

This must be a world first that usable DNA can be extracted from the rectum after two days. Let the government chemist testify, the defence specialists will tear his testimony and methodology apart until he cowers in surrender.

Remember what happened to chemist Ng Keng Boon in Sodomy I. He was cornered in cross-examination and forced to admit that that Anwar's so-called DNA sample extracted from the mattress could have been planted. Judge Augustine Paul had to expunge the whole DNA testimony. Bring it on!

Aisyalam: What a sham. What a shame. The world is watching. The world is laughing. It's unbelievable how everything is so blatantly a lie and yet the judge is denying every single request by the defence.

Gary Nair: Do you want to know why the judge dismisses the application for a stay of proceedings? Simple, it is to prevent Karpal Singh and Anwar Ibrahim to head on to Sibu.

Mikey: BN can "give" RM18 million to Chinese and Christian schools, and we would still not vote for them. Why? This trial is a prime example of the reason why. People want justice and equality, regardless of race or religion.

Zainudeeen Mydeeen: Why bother with the charade? Just jail Anwar and throw away the keys. It is obvious that he's a threat to the security of the kleptocracy.
