They are waiting for the defence to say their piece and then change the statements accordingly.

Where is the transparency?

Patriot: Not only the judges are seen to come up with dubious rulings, a senior federal counsel has now come up with a dubious statement implicating Malaysiakini for printing what was said by Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz. This is the quality of those working in the legal profession in government. Indeed, a very lame argument in the bid to quash the contempt proceedings.

Anyway, it would not make any difference whether or not any argument is presented as the case was already a no-go from the very beginning and the federal counsel's presence was purely academic.

Daily we see the deterioration of the judicial system where there seem to exist a two -tier application of the due process of the law, depending on which political side you belong to...

I call upon all Malaysians to rise up and save the country. Will the Bar Council and all its lawyers rise to the most urgent need of the day? Please start a strike and lead a protest against this at all courts in the country right up to the Federal Court.

Name the judges and condemn them in public. Let them not continue to feed on our taxpayers funds. Let them not continue to enjoy their shameless pride. Boycott all hearings. Follow the lead taken by the lawyers in Pakistan and demand the resignation of the culprits.
