Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim has been urged to overcome corruption issues and delays in development projects quickly.

"And the same people are getting projects. So, such problems must be overcome quickly," Anwar told reporters after closing PKR's sixth National Congress in Kota Bharu today.

Anwar said he had received a number of complaints with regards to such issues and such issues must be looked at seriously by Khalid and need to be resolved quickly to ensure a continuous support for PKR.

Grouses highlighted

During the Congress, the Selangor administration had come under criticism from PKR delegates, and among the main grouses highlighted were the need for transparency and the issue of corruption.

The Selangor state government must also review the laws and abolish
